My story

Behind Cynthiart etc. there's Cynthia, a mom on maternity leave who is the illustrator and designer behind all of the products in the collection. 

A little slice of life ...

My daughters are 18 months apart and the youngest was born in the summer of 2019.

My first daughter born at the end of 2017 was the one who breathed new life into my creations. She makes me rediscover life through her eyes. She shows me that anything can be a source of wonder and discovery. It inspires me and makes me want to demonstrate all the beauty of life, the subtle details that make it up.

A second extraordinary little princess has been part of my life since June 2019. Hospitalized at birth, she underwent heart surgery at 12 days of life. Back home since she was 4 weeks old, she has just undergone an open heart operation in November 2020, and will have to undergo a third and final one between 3 and 5 years old. She teaches me to live the present moment and surprises me day by day with her strength and courage. She's a little fighter.

Art and my small business helps me to be more resilient to this ordeal and to remain positive, to take my mind off things. It must be said that creation has always been a passion, I who took oil painting lessons at 8 years old.

It is often said that art is therapeutic, in my case it helps me not to be overwhelmed by the uncertainty of the coming months. 

Art is a passion for me and I am happy to be able to share it with you. It is a great pride to see my creations in the bedrooms of your little ones. I am happy to be a creator of small smiles by embellishing their universe.

Cheering on Cynthiart etc is to fuel a dream that I have had for years and to grow my 3rd baby ;-) In all honesty, this is a great achievement for me.
