My story
I'm Cynthia — a mom and illustrator with a deep passion for decorating baby and children's rooms. I'm proud to share that passion with you. It began in my own childhood and has only grown stronger since the birth of my two daughters.
I’m based in Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier, a picturesque town just outside Québec City. Surrounded by mountains, lakes, countryside, and forests, it’s a peaceful haven that inspires me every single day. My artistic journey started at a very young age, and over the years, I’ve developed my skills in drawing and painting to create artwork designed especially for little ones.
I absolutely love designing nurseries and kids’ rooms. I work with soft colors and cozy textures to craft spaces that feel warm, welcoming, and comforting for your child. Whether you're looking for personalized wall art, coordinated bedding, or unique decorative accessories, I'm here to help you create a space that’s as special and inspiring as your little one.
When you choose Cynthiart etc., you receive personalized service and thoughtful attention to every detail. I take great pride in using high-quality materials for all my creations and ensuring each piece meets my clients’ expectations.
If you're dreaming of a nursery or kids’ room that’s unique, personalized, and full of heart, feel free to reach out. I’d love to work with you to create a space that reflects the love you have for your child.
A Little Piece of My Story 💖
My daughters are 18 months apart, and my youngest was born in the summer of 2019.
My first daughter, born at the end of 2017, breathed new life into my creativity. Through her eyes, I’m rediscovering the world. She shows me that everything can be a source of wonder and discovery. She inspires me and fuels my desire to capture the beauty of life — especially in the little details that make it so magical.
A second extraordinary little princess came into my life in June 2019.
She was hospitalized at birth and underwent heart surgery at just 12 days old. She came home at four weeks, then had open-heart surgery at 17 months in November 2020, and had her third and final surgery at the age of three and a half.
She has taught me to truly live in the present moment. Her strength and courage continue to amaze me. She is our brave little warrior.
Art and my small business have helped me stay resilient through it all.
They keep me grounded, lift my spirits, and give me a healthy escape. Creating has always been a passion — I was taking oil painting classes at just 8 years old.
People often say that art is therapeutic — and for me, it truly has been. It helped me stay afloat through the uncertainty of my youngest daughter’s early years and the challenging context of the pandemic.
It fills me with pride to see my creations in your little ones’ rooms.
Honestly, it’s one of my greatest accomplishments.
